…a little bit about me.

Congratulations on your engagement! I love, love and I love weddings. I’d be honored to be a part of your special day. I was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario. I attended Master’s College and Seminary and received my degree in theology in 2007. I moved to Haldimand County in 2011 to get married.

Personal Story

I met my husband in college but we didn’t date until years later. We dated for 2 months and then we knew we were meant to be, we were then engaged for 6 months and are still happily married 14 years later.

My Family

I have been married to my best friend James for 14 years. We have 3 school aged children – 2 daughters and a son. We also have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny. Our house is often filled with chaos, laughter and love. Whether its rushing to karate class, sitting down for dinner or having family movie night – we love spending time together.

My Life Experiences

I have spent most of my career working in the not for profit sector and for the last 14 years I have been the director of a charity that provides free education, counselling and practical items to individuals who need extra support with pregnancy or parenting. I love people and coming alongside them to support them in their life’s journey,

My Interests

I’m a mom so I really love naps, showers, going shopping by myself. Other than that I love my family and having little adventures with them. A picnic at the splashpad or visiting a maple syrup farm can be an adventure with a little creativity. I love, love – date nights, romantic movies and clean romance novels. I like photography and I have 3 perfect subjects to capture every achievement, mini-adventure or holiday. I love going up north to the cottage where we can boat, swim and fish the day away.
