…a little bit about me.
Congratulations on your engagement! I’m Conrad—your friendly, neighbourhood wedding officiant. For over a decade, I’ve had the honour of officiating weddings in all kinds of settings — backyards, parks, churches, gardens, barns — you name it. From flip-flops to formal-wear, I’ve seen it all, and I love every minute of it. No matter the venue, I bring the same energy: to make your ceremony feel personal, meaningful, and uniquely you. My goal is to help you feel relaxed, present, and maybe even sneak in a few happy tears (don’t worry, I keep tissues close by).
Personal Story
I’m a born-and-raised city guy from the east side of Toronto, but don’t let the urban roots fool you! I spent my school years in a small Eastern Ontario town, and I’ve lived and worked in various communities across Southwestern Ontario. These days, I call the GTA home. My journey into officiating started when a family member asked me to officiate their wedding because (in their words) I had “a great voice.” I thought it’d be an ‘every so often’ thing. Fast forward over ten years, and here I am — still loving the chance to stand with couples as they take one of life’s biggest steps. Turns out, love stories are kind of my thing
My Family
Family is everything to me. I’m a proud husband to an incredible wife, and as a father of daughters, let’s just say I’m outnumbered . . . and outvoted . . . but always loved! Being surrounded by strong, loving women has taught me the importance of empathy, listening, and not hogging the bathroom mirror! I bring that same understanding and care into every ceremony, because I know just how much these moments matter.
My Life Experiences
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with couples from all walks of life, backgrounds, and traditions. Whether your ceremony is big and bold or small and simple, I tailor each one to reflect your story and style. In addition to weddings, I’ve worked in public speaking, coaching, franchising, IT, retail management, non-profits, and community outreach (to name a few!). These experiences have given me a calm, confident presence—and let’s be honest, someone calm is very helpful when wedding-day nerves kick in.
My Interests
When I’m not officiating, you’ll likely find me deep into a football game (most often the Philadelphia Eagles), lost in a great playlist, or having thoughtful conversations over a mug of hot chocolate (yes, even in July). I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and hearing what brought them together. Everyone’s story is different — and that is part of what makes this so rewarding for me.
