We used Enduring Promises for our wedding. We actually had a friend host the actual ceremony, but our officiant from Enduring Promises, Sharon McKenley, was absolutely fantastic. She walked us through the process, helped us with our legal documents and was very responsive to our emails throughout the process. We also had a potential emergency situation where our friend-officiant was almost not able to attend the wedding, and Sharon offered to step up to do the entire ceremony on short notice. Thankfully, our friend was still able to make it, but it gave us huge peace of mind knowing that Sharon was ready to step up if necessary!

Sharon, we are so grateful to have connected with you!!! Our wedding plans were tightly packed into a short time period… which at first left us concerned that we would not find the “right” person to marry us. Well, our concerns were slightly quelled when I discovered and contacted Enduring Promises and was told that there was, in fact, one officiant available for our wedding date and time (only three weeks away). We flew in from London to Toronto on the 23rd December 2019 to marry on 30th December. Tom and I had already arranged an Officiant in Toronto from a site recommended by our hotel before leaving the UK a month previously but found the Officiant we had engaged was not quite what we needed. With only 5 days to our marriage ceremony date, we took the risk on seeing if could find someone very special at short notice from Enduring Promises...then prayed... Quite honestly to our surprise, we were contacted almost immediately and we stipulated to the manager, a lovely lady, exactly what we felt we both wanted and needed to make our day that much more memorable and meaningful. The manager recommended Sharon McKenley with whom we had the most heartfelt moving conversation. Sharon asked us to tell her in detail exactly how we met and why we fell in love... she listened patiently... Sharon's response left me in tears as it would seem that even though it may seem as straightforward to others, she truly empathized and showed us that she was one who absolutely believes in the power of love and how precious it is. Sharon is a true minister of Faith, never discussing any specific denomination but just the importance of our Faith itself. Sharon McKenley is very sincere, genuine, kind and patient with a voice like silk and words of tender reassurance. I was impressed by her air of grace and dignity without judgment and her very obvious elegance. Sharon made our wedding feel both divine and magical all at once. I had to remark that Sharon was very much like the perfect fairy godmother one would wish portrayed in our favourite magical children's tales. This may seem a little fantastical to a reader but I assure you that this was no fantasy to us - she simply was so much more than we could have hoped for. Enduring Promises was a godsend for our wedding. Everything was professional, and they catered to our requests for the kind of officiant we were looking for. Having no idea about what a ceremony looks like, their custom tool that allows you the build and customize all aspects of the ceremony along with some provided customizable presets is very good and take a lot of the burden off an already stressful time. The officiant we had was Sharon McKenley who was excellent. She took the time to meet with us a couple of times over zoom to go over the process and the ceremony, and was very helpful in helping us figure out various things. On the day of, she was very early and ready to get everything done. She officiated the ceremony excellently and everything was extremely well done. We had our wedding this October of 2020 and Covid definitely made it a challenge. Enduring promises and even more so Sharon made the whole experience amazing.
