My Personal Story ….

I was born in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia but currently reside in Ottawa, Ontario. I love visiting my homeland at least once a year and I am so proud to be a Caper! I drink so much tea there’s no denying the Scotian in my blood. I’ve lived all around Ontario in Toronto, Guelph, St. Catharines, and more!

My Family ….

I’ve been married to my soul mate, Mike, for 35 years. We have one daughter and we are grandparents as well. We’ve also had many fur babies over the years. I am the baby of 6 siblings and love my family to pieces!

My Life Experience ….

Lived & worked in downtown Toronto working as an administrator for a large firm. Then I opened my own restaurant just north of Toronto in the early 90’s. A few years later my husband and I became involved in the not-for-profit sector and have served our community for the past 22 years in Ottawa.

My Interests & Passions ….

I absolutely love a good cup of tea and biscuits. I love the sunshine, ocean, and the waves. In the winter, I love going on the trails with our grandson in his sleigh. I also started knitting and making toques this winter, which has been so fun!
