Congratulations on your engagement!  What an exciting time in your life.  

I have been officiating at weddings for over 7 years all over the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario.  I would be thrilled to be part of your wedding journey.  As your wedding officiant, I will help you have the perfect wedding ceremony that reflects who you are.  I am warm, caring, inclusive, and flexible.  

Personal Story

I was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario and have lived in the GTA all of my life.  As a first generation Canadian, I was taught the values of family and hard work.  I have three university degrees (yes, 3!) from the University of Toronto.  My first career was in the world of libraries.  I worked in university and public libraries before I realized that I needed to make a career change.  I went back to school and completed a Master of Divinity degree and now I work in the not for profit sector.  

My Family

I am married to my high school sweetheart who I met when I was 11 years old!  We have two children who are young adults and we live in Burlington.

My Life Experiences

Over the years, I have met and worked with many people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions.  I love traveling and experiencing different cultures, customs, and trying new food!  These experiences have shaped my belief that the human race is more connected than we can ever truly understand.  It is so important for us to listen and empathize with others in a loving and respectful way.  

My Interests

I love spending time with family and friends.  I am an avid reader and self-confessed ‘news junkie.’ As a firm believer in lifelong learning, I am trying to learn the guitar and re-acquire the knitting skills of my grandmother.  When we travel, we love to visit museums, art galleries, and historical sites.
