The exchange of wedding rings and the sharing of vows is one of the most romantic moments in a couples life and all newlyweds wish to remember their special day in a unique and personal way. As an alternative to including a Unity Candle or Sand Blending ceremony into your wedding celebration, consider a Love Letter Ceremony.

Prior to the wedding day, the bride and groom write a love letter to each other expressing their most intimate feelings towards their partner. In the letter the couple may explain what it is about the other person that first attracted them, the reason why they fell in love, their dreams for their future together, and even some special moments they have shared together. The unread letters are then sealed and locked inside a decorative box which can be prominently displayed as a reminder of your wedding day.

This romantic “Time Capsule”, which may be opened when facing a challenge within the marriage or on a special occasion, will be a lasting memory of your commitment and love for one another.

Have you seen a Love Letter Ceremony at any of the weddings you have attended?
