A little bit about me…
I am a licensed wedding Officiant in the province of Ontario.
My personal story
I was raised by my grandparents and attended my early school years in Berlin, Germany. After arriving in Canada in 1963 I continued my education in Burlington. I graduated from Mohawk College where I studied Medical Technology. I read, write and speak fluent German.
Family
My grandparents provided a loving environment, nurtured and instilled in me the importance of family. As a result, I realize that family and friends hold the most important role in each of our lives.
My life experiences
In the past I have worked as a daycare supervisor, Outpatient lab receptionist and technician. Since 1989 I have been working with the homeless, dealing with crisis situations and intervention, and acting as a personal support worker for seniors.
For the past 27 years I have been teaching creativity workshops. As a public speaker I have been invited to speak at schools, universities, conferences and retreats throughout the world. I have also produced 14 instructional videos.
Interests and passions: Dance, music, mission work, working with Aboriginal People groups in schools and remote villages. Believe it or not, I also enjoy a good game of football and soccer.
Favorite things to do: Spending time with friends and family: participating in sports and attending musical concerts.
Favorite music: Love it all!! Especially ethnic music that is uplifting.
Favorite past times: Reading, traveling and studying languages. I also love ballroom dancing.
Favorite sports: Cycling, kayaking, snowmobiling, boating, hiking, horseback riding and mountain climbing.

She is also very organized, such as reminding us to complete Ceremony and vows 10 days prior to the wedding, emailing us to confirm some details, and all the little sticky notes on the license directing the witnesses where to sign!
