We recently married and had the pleasure of having Richard from Enduring Promises officiate our wedding ceremony!

Right from the first email to the ceremony Richard was extremely helpful and friendly. We communicated by email a lot and Richard. He was quick to respond and was very knowledgeable. Richard is smiling brightly in all of our photos and made eye contact with both of us throughout the ceremony – especially when we took our vows!

The mother of the groom also commented about how wonderful Richard was to listen to and that he was extremely personable with everyone in attendance.

Richard made our day memorable and put everyone at ease!  We highly recommend booking Richard and using Enduring Promises for your wedding needs!

Thanks again for making our day so pleasant!

Mike was all that we could have asked for in an officiant for our wedding ceremony. Although Mike had many different ideas through the Enduring Promises online Console, we felt that we were good with only a single meeting before the wedding. That didn’t mean that Mike forgot about us until our wedding day, as he was super helpful leading up to OUR SPECIAL DAY.

There was also no pressure into a religious ceremony as my husband wouldn’t have been too happy with that. When we emailed Mike a question, we heard back within half an hour (though I don’t think it ever took even that long). He was a great presence at our ceremony, and we have some wonderful photos of him laughing along like he was part of our family.

Although we only met Mike one time before our wedding day, he officiated our wedding ceremony as if he had known the family for years.

We would definitely recommend Mike and Enduring Promises to anyone looking for a wedding officiant.

Uncork Your Personalities!

Authored by: Kelly Peister

As budget is always a factor when it comes to a wedding, many couples are considering making their own wine, versus buying a commercially distributed product, as a way of significantly reducing their alcohol bill.

If you are considering providing your guests with your own, there are some things you should think about, more than just the financial benefits, after all, serving your own wine can reduce the cost of “the grape” by 35%.

Your first and foremost consideration should be the taste of the wine you are going to serve your family and best friends.  In essence, you get what you pay for, either with wine that you make or wine bought through a commercial outlet. So if you choose the cheapest wine kit you can find, you may end up with something whose quality doesn’t match your celebration.

There is a wide variety of wines available to serve your guests, so you need to decide which ones will appeal to the greatest number – red, white, sweet or a selection of all the above. It’s usually safe to take a middle-of-the-road approach when it comes to flavours, fragrance, and body and stay away from the “bold and brassy”.

Customized wine labels and bottles allow the freedom to uncork your personalities while capturing the attention of your guests and introducing the brand. A few things to consider when selecting your label material are the type of printer being used, the type of bottle it will be applied to, the design and whether the labels are conducive to refrigeration or ice buckets.

Another benefit to making your own wine is to gift bottles to your guests as a thank you for their participation in your celebration. Any remaining bottles can also be enjoyed at other events such as bridal showers, birthdays and anniversaries.

As always, follow along at our blog.  We post lots of content that will help you create your perfect, hopefully stress-free, wedding day.

Go, check out our Tips and Suggestions and we’ll catch up with you next time!

We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding ceremony!!

Enduring Promises made our wedding personal, unique, funny and emotional all at the same time. Jim Emerson was incredible at helping us create the perfect ceremony! He covered every detail. We originally thought we would have a 5 minute ceremony but instead ended up with an unforgettable 25 min ceremony that was full of laughter, crying, and personal touches – even a song!!

We are so happy with the way our wedding ceremony turned out and we owe it all to Enduring Promises! I don’t know why they don’t charge more haha!!

Thanks again 🙂

Hi Jim,

We hope you have been enjoying the summer.

Peter and I thought you did a great job officiating our wedding ceremony at the Trump Toronto. The rehearsal was very helpful as it provided us with an overall flow of our ceremony. Your attention to detail was extremely appreciated. The suggestions that you provided made the ceremony flawless.

We have enjoyed looking back on our wedding day, via our photographs, and have nothing but wonderful memories.

We appreciated how quickly you responded to any questions we had. There were a few stressful days leading up to our wedding and having you answer questions so quickly made it possible for my stress level to deteriorate.

The ceremony Console was very helpful. It removed our concerns around creating our unique ceremony.

Enduring Promises was very quick to respond to any questions we had and to forward our link/user name and password the day following our first meeting.

We want to thank you again for officiating our wedding. Peter and I not only enjoyed our day, but have continued to enjoy each other and all of life’s joys and twists since then.

Our officiant was Jim Emerson and we couldn’t have been more pleased.

When we initially contacted Enduring Promises, we had no idea how to pick an officiant from the many listed. We gave some guidelines as to what we were looking for in an officiant and they suggested Jim.

Throughout the process, Jim had a ton of ideas, some of which we loved, some of which we passed on but ultimately they all helped us create a ceremony that was loving and unique to us.

I would highly recommend Jim and the Enduring Promises if you are looking for an officiant
