A little bit about me…

THANK YOU for the honour and privilege of entrusting me in your special day.     

It would be my honour to work with you to create the custom ceremony of your dreams.  Whether you want a “short and simple”, traditional, “to the point”, religious or non-religious ceremony; we will work together to pick options to suite your needs, using the innovative Enduring Promises platform.

I am physically located in Holland Landing, Ontario and I am happy to service all over the GTA.  In the summer months, I also frequent Muskoka Region and am happy to service there as well.

As a middle-aged female officiant, I like to think of myself as a great option for couples who are looking for a really laid back, comfortable, light-hearted, yet professional approach to their ceremony.  I am known to be extremely efficient, personable, communicative and “go with the flow”.  I love to get to know my couples and throw in some light-hearted humor to my ceremonies (with your permission of course!).

My Personal Story:

I am a professional event planner with over 13 years experience in both private & corporate event planning.  I am also a licensed wedding officiant, able to marry any couple (including same-sex couples) in Ontario.  I currently hold the title of Newmarket’s Top Rated Wedding Planner & Wedding Officiant for several years in a row. I am proud to carry a 5 star rating and a vast portfolio of types of weddings that I have had the privilege of working with.

Professionally, I am a Registered Psychotherapist; offering individual, family and couples counselling.  I focus my practice on working with moms with Perinatal Mood Disorders as well as supporting families of children with exceptionalities (namely Autism, ADHD).  I am a notable philanthropist and volunteer in my community and run a local charity.

My Family:

I am a blessed mother and step-mother of 5 (my 2 boys + 3 bonus step children); in a unique blended-family dynamic.  Life is busy but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

My Interests and Passions:

I love anything outdoors and country-life. I enjoy camping with my family at our trailer in Muskoka (I also service Muskoka for this reason). I love Country music, staying active & being social. I thoroughly enjoy running my multiple businesses, blogging, social media and keeping up with what’s happening in the wedding and metal health industry.
